Our gas oven was working Sunday morning (11/09/25), but stopped heating in the afternoon. We called Expert Appliance Repair that afternoon and by Monday afternoon our oven was working again! This service was amazing & such a blessing during the cold snap this week. Raja came to our home Monday, diagnosed the problem, went out to obtain the needed element and replaced it for us. His expertise and swift response is rare and SO appreciated. We have an older stove and dreaded the expense & hassle of a replacement if needed. Our repair bill was modest and reasonable. Highly recommend this service (& this employee!)
First time...I'm seeing such a honest and knowledgeable guy. Mr. Stephen is amazing. Explained all the stuffs while repairing... Even explained what would happen in future and what he can do in that case. Charged me genuinely.

I rarely write reviews. So the fact that I am taking the time to recommend Expert Appliance Repair speaks volumes. I've called EAR on several occasions over the years (clothes washer, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher). On each and every visit Raja was timely, professional, courteous and extremely helpful. What makes EAR stand out is the ability to explain the problem and be very honest about treatment options. In fact, I referred EAR to my mom in Columbia. While calling EAR for an apt., she explained the issues with her dryer to Raja. He was honest enough to say he was certain it was not fixable based on its age and condition. He encouraged her to not make an apt. and put her $ into a new machine. In addition, EAR technicians are not just "Sears" robot technicians who just do basic repairs. In fact, Raja has saved me hundreds of dollars by knowing how to fix the mother board on my full refrig/freezer unit and how to salvage the ice maker motor that had become frozen due to a water line leak. They are just creative problem solvers that use good old fashion detective work to get at the root cause. We are about to have a full house for Thanksgiving and I called Raja to check an oven that notoriously doesn't warm well when many items are in at the same time. If you have any concerns about your appliances b4 a holiday call early, all repair places get last minute frantic calls. That won't me be this Thanksgiving. You will not be disappointed with EAR.
Brian fixed my 15 yr old LG dryer, by replacing one of the rollers that turns the drum. On time, didn't take long to get an appointment. The $45 part was in the truck so he fixed it right away. A little expensive on the labor, but this is the 2nd time I've had them out (last time for the washer power supply), and I feel that confidence in their training and judgement is worth it.
I made an appointment, they did not show. When I called them, I got a song and dance how they needed a special tool and freon to fix my refrigerator and that the only tech they had to do the job was on vacation. Thier solution was to give me the number of another company. NO THANK YOU! Do not waste your time.
The service man showed up on time and completed the repair. Very quickly and professionally.
Steven is an excellent repairman. He is professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He figured out the problem promptly, communicated everything about the part, timeframe, costs, etc, and followed up and followed through on everything. Ibahim from Expert Appliance Repair came to our home the same day as I called the company for service on our ice maker/water dispenser. He diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced the water filter which I already had, helped clean up under the refrigerator, and charged only the standard service call. Would definitely call them again!
I called and got an appointment for the next morning. Tech was super friendly and diagnosed the problem quickly. He fixed it up in less than an hour and cleaned up before he left. He also gave me advice on another issue. Great service, super friendly and honest.

Had a freezer problem. Stephen was the tech that came over and worked on it. He was on time, diagnosed it correctly, came back when he said he would and fixed it AOK. Highly recommend the service and Stephen in particular.
We have used Experts Appliance Repair many times - for repair of a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. They have always been very polite and friendly, and either fixed the problem or told us that it was not worth it to repair and that we should get a new appliance. One time our dishwasher was completely taken apart (and then put back together) only to find that the repair would be more costly than it was worth. Yet we were still charged only the basic rate for the repairman to come out.
Steven has been here several times and he is wonderful. Even the woman that answers the phone is friendly. I can't say enough good things about this company.

Francis provided great service, assuring that multiple problems with my fridge and freezer were fixed in a timely manner. He was knowledgable, thorough, communicative, and prompt. He dealt with communication issues stemming from my apartment management in a professional and courteous way.

We asked for Francis (as I read in some reviews), and he is wonderful. First, it's extremely easy to make the appointment. They respond right away and try accommodate you the best they can, even in this difficule pandemic time. They send you confirmation immediately by text. They also send you text when the technician is on the way, and he called us, too, to say when he was arriving (very good given that we need to take out food from the fridge!).
Francis is absolutely great (make sure to ask for him!). He spent time to understand our issue and to thoroughly check the fridge. He diagnosed the problem correctly (we had 3 technicians previously through Choice home warranty, and some of them were saying things that didn't make sense at all, or offering solutions that just couldn't work long-term; one of them actually made the problem worse with his attempt to adjust the fridge door), and explained us our options, including estimated prices and offering various practical considerations. He also gave us a lot of useful advices on the types of fridges and brands (in case we decide to replace it) - I wish we knew some of those things when we were buying our current fridge.
In addition, Francis is super friendly. We also appreciated that he did wear his mask correctly the whole time (previous technicians from home warranty were not that careful about COVID protection, wearing thier masks incorrectly or removing them altogether periodically).
We are still to decide which repair option to choose, but whatever we do, we'll definitely go with this company.

So had an issue with my 22 yr old fridge during covid. Everyone was backlogged at least a month to buy a new fridge. I was hoping it was just a refrigerant issue. Spoke to owner that morning- just asking me questions over the phone he believed it was another issue and someone would be out that afternoon. They showed up on time, took backing off, showed me & explained to me what the issue was- was a defroster issue- but because of the uniqueness of fridge, had to order the part for next day repair. Came in next day & fixed it. But- turned out there was another issue. Spoke w owner again- he came out this time. We had to diagnose it a little- he wanted to do some testing on what it could be before just tearing things apart. Fridge was working- just not as good as could be. In the end- they came out to the house 4 times in total- but only charged me for the initial part and labor. They did not even charge me for additional materials they used to get it working right. The owner always returned my calls and tried to explain things to me so I knew what was happening. I appreciated the fact he did not just replace parts that "could be" the issue just to gouge me. He came back several times and figure out what the issues were and took care of them. Owner even refused additional payment for parts used at the end. I definitely would use these guys again without hesitation.
They were extremely pleasant when I first called. I asked for a next day appointment which I received. They texted their ETA and arrived exactly at that time. Service technician was very friendly and HONEST about my repair. He took a picture of what happened behind my refrigerator (compressor leaked and rusted out everything), gave me an estimate for repair and told me I may want to think about replacing it due to the service price. Now that is excellent customer service! I will definitely use them again and have already told all my neighbors about them. Thank you.
I called this company in a bit of a panic this morning. Our gas cooktop stopped working all of a sudden and we are set to host Christmas Eve dinner. Raja answered the phone asked me a few questions. He diagnosed the problem over the phone, then guided me through how to resolve the issue. I had to call back for additional instruction and he was kind and patient. Our gas cooktop is working again and I couldn’t be more grateful. Raja could have set me up for an appointment and charged a service fee but he didn’t and that’s pretty awesome. Thank you Raja for your expertise and honesty. You have a future new customer.
